TEDx Leamington Spa Live Event Video Production

The Client

TEDx Leamington Spa is a programme of local, self-organised events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. It is run by a team of dedicated volunteers.

These community-based events are branded TEDx, where x stands for an independently organised TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx programme.

The Brief

At a TEDx event, TED Talk videos and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection.

The organisers of TEDx Leamington Spa approached Green Gorilla over four years ago to film their first live event. They needed videos of each talk and a promotional film for use across social media. We have been filming them ever since.

The Approach

Event marketing is a huge part of promoting live events like TEDx Leamington Spa, and that is where we come in. As a video production company, we were asked to bring our skills to capturing the entire live event.

The most recent live event took place at the music venue The Assembly in Leamington, a fitting home given this year's theme of Rhythm.

Film production and live event filming is a collaborative feat, and TEDx Leamington Spa was no exception. We worked with committed volunteers and organisers from start to finish. The finished videos and promotional films would not be what they are without the collaboration that TEDx Leamington Spa provides.

The Outcome

Over the years we have delivered numerous TEDx talks for the use of TEDx Leamington Spa and its speakers, along with a promotional film for each event.

Everything is ready for social media, to be used to promote the following year's event. Deliverables included the TEDx Leamington Spa 2018 Rhythm promotional film and the TEDx Leamington Spa 2018 talks.
