Brunei Halal Food TV Advert

A cinematic television commercial produced for Brunei Halal to launch their newest range of halal products, built around a farm to family story and shot in 4k for use across TV channels and social media.

The Client

Brunei Halal are an international food producer and one of the leading brands in halal foods.

The Brief

Brunei Halal approached Green Gorilla to create a TV advert they could use across multiple TV channels and media platforms.

The commercial needed to highlight their newest range of halal products and sit at the centre of their digital marketing campaign.

The Approach

Brunei Halal needed a cinematic television commercial for their newest range of halal products, and one that would anchor their wider digital marketing campaign.

Working alongside their marketing team, chefs and sales staff, we were able to put a range of ideas together. A lot of food videography focuses only on the product, but we wanted to tell a story. By using a farm to family narrative, we showed the core beliefs of the company to its target demographics.

Filming took place across the West Midlands in a variety of locations, with a strong crew and team behind us. Sometimes simplicity is key: for the family scenes we used Airbnb, a service we would happily recommend. Filming in 4k has future proofed the film so it can serve as a marketing tool for many years to come.

The Outcome

The finished film was delivered as a TV advert for use across multiple TV channels, and worked equally well as a social media film.

As well as being aired, it became a Facebook video, a website film and a YouTube video for the marketing team. The production was a large part of Brunei Halal's product launch into Tesco, and both we and Brunei Halal were pleased with the result.
